Overview:

SMG Blue Ridge Internal Medicine in Charlottesville, VA is hiring a Patient Care Representative.

The Patient Care Representative is responsible for registration process of new and current patients at the site. Completes check-in and check-out functions to include collection of co-pays, scheduling of appointments, and requests for medical records. Answers telephone calls and greet all patients and visitors with a smile.

Must have ability to communicate with insurance carriers and discharge planners in a professional manner. Must be enthusiastic and energetic.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED

• None

Experience:

• Prior front desk experience preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $20.24 - $30.25 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
