NSC Staffing is seeking dependable and motivated
Paint Line Helpers to support manufacturing and production operations in
Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin . This position plays a critical role in supporting industrial finishing, coating, packaging, and material handling operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, painting, coating, or general labor and be comfortable working around production equipment and automated finishing systems.
Position Overview The Paint Line Helper assists with daily paint line and production operations by loading and unloading materials, preparing products for finishing, supporting coating processes, packaging completed products, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
This role works closely with production personnel to ensure products move efficiently through painting, coating, curing, inspection, and shipping processes while meeting quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities Paint Line & Production Support - Assist with daily paint line and production operations.
- Load and unload parts and materials onto production lines, racks, and conveyors.
- Support coating, finishing, and curing processes.
- Prepare products for painting or coating operations.
- Monitor product flow to help maintain production schedules.
Material Handling - Move raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished products throughout the facility.
- Stage materials for production and shipping.
- Transport materials safely using approved handling methods and equipment.
- Maintain organized storage and staging areas.
Packaging & Shipping Support - Package finished products according to customer and company specifications.
- Label, wrap, and prepare products for shipment.
- Build and organize pallets for delivery and storage.
- Assist shipping and receiving personnel as needed.
Quality & Safety - Inspect finished products for visible defects or quality issues.
- Report production, equipment, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
General Manufacturing Support - Assist production teams as needed throughout the facility.
- Support manufacturing operations during high-volume production periods.
- Perform housekeeping and facility maintenance tasks as required.
- Complete additional duties assigned by production leadership.
Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience in:
- Manufacturing
- Production
- Paint or coating operations
- Packaging
- Material handling
- General labor
- Experience operating around conveyors, material handling equipment, or production machinery.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Work Environment - Industrial manufacturing and production facility.

- Fast-paced environment with production goals and deadlines.
- PPE required as assigned by company safety standards.
Physical Requirements - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds .
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to safely work around moving equipment and production machinery.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and production conditions.
