Liaison with the interagency on commercial diplomacy and economic security matters, develops and maintains relationships with relevant interagency counterparts to advance SCA priorities.
Guides and advises senior officials regarding incorporating commercial priorities into SCA bilateral and multilateral engagements and ensures integration of these priorities across Bureau strategic planning efforts.
Coordinates on policy and programming with the interagency, country desks, and private sector partners, often serving as the Bureau’s primary point of contact on commercial engagement and economic security issues.
Builds and sustains relationships with U.S. and regional private sector actors, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), industry associations, technology firms, mining and energy companies, business councils, and multilateral development banks.
